These days everywhere you turn you hear, “relax more,” as if that is such a simple task. Often that advice unwittingly creates more stress, as even the suggestion seems to be too much to deal with at times. I have wrestled with how best to facilitate relaxation in my own life and as the weeeks go by I will gladly share with you information and resources as I find them.
This week a newsletter from Bhg.com showed up in my inbox and I thought I would post the links for all. Better Homes and Gardens online now has an entire section on relaxation. Who knew! The article is called “Easy Relaxation Techniques,” and suggests some ideas that might be of value. For more tips, check out their Stress Relief Section of the www.bhg.comwebsite. Even though it wasn’t listed, while you’re there you might want to print out an oh-so-comforting recipe containing chocolate…..at least that always works for me.
