About 12 years ago my step son was talking about an “old fashion, antique” phone – you know, the black table top deal with rotary dial. I thought old fashion, antique was the hand crank phone that dialed the operator to put the call through. They sure know how to make you feel old! - 5 Things I am Not Thankful For
I am not thankful that my dog is blowing his coat in January! Love him dearly though! - Take a Moment
I have to say that I had a wonderful holiday season – all my hard work and preparations came together for the relaxing, family filled holiday I was hoping for. So, what happened? The last two days feel like nothing can go right. Nothing is horribly wrong but it’s not right. I have been exhausted trying to deal with family, work demands, and all the running. It’s only Tuesday! The first Tuesday of 2010! The time for myself – which I completely agree is necessary for my health (as you, Royale, know very well that I need) has slipped away. Maybe if I can go make a snow angle in the light powdery snow, suck in the harsh cold air and look at the winter sky stars I will feel refreshed enough to go on. Thanks for being there! - 2009 Review
Awesome! - Change One Thing at a Time
I wish I could hit the pause button and stop the world so I can get caught up. So, this year my resolution is to get organized. I have so many other things I would like to do but this is the one on which I will focus. I have decided to set short term goals to acheive this, one little bit at a time. Hopefully this will help some of the other things fall into place. One resolution to avoid overload and make progess!

Today, I am thankful for time spent with family and friends. Also for Santa’s White Christmas coffee from Barnie’s coffee. It is a special holiday treat that always puts a smile on my face!
Today I am thankful for my wife and her introduction of the “Daily Thankful Emails”. I have decided to keep the daily outlook reminder active and will set aside a few moments each morning to reflect on what I am thankful for.
